Once you’ve made an online booking you should receive a confirmation email (please contact us if you don’t). Within it you will find some useful information about your appointment (time, date, location), as well as a description of our terms and conditions.
You will be sent an Intake form where few questions regarding your overall medical history. It is important that you will spend few minutes of your time to answer to all the questions so that our practitioners will have the overall picture of your health conditions prior your arrival and they will be able to spend more time on the actual treatment you are coming for.
An initial assessment usually takes around 60 minutes. It will consist of your history taking, a full physical examination of the body and problem area, treatment and advice.
To accurately examine you, your therapist may ask you to shed some clothing as they will need to see the affected area and often the joints above and below.
If subsequent visits are required this will also be discussed and an individually tailored treatment programme planned. The treatment type selected depends upon your specific requirements and may include many of the different methods listed on our “Services” tab.
Our aim is to reduce your pain, promote tissue healing and a rapid recovery. We will also educate you on how to avoid a reoccurrence of your problem. Follow up appointments will always involve an assessment of your progress as well as treatment.
Initial consultations are 60 minutes and follow ups are usually 45 or 30 minutes depending on the patients need. If you feel you need longer than 45 minutes as a follow up please discuss that with your therapist.

Movement is an important part of assessment so please wear clothes you feel comfortable to move in. Our general advice is to wear loose comfortable clothing such as that would exercise in. Please avoid anything bulky like jeans or cords . You are welcome to bring items to change into or wear suitable layers underneath your everyday clothes. Many of our female patients wear stretchy leggings or loose shorts and a sports bra.
Towels will be provided during the treatment.

At the moment StateOfchange clinic does not offer any parking slots but there are several options for paying parking near by the clinic.
All our bookings are pre-paid online through our third-party booking system Cliniko . If you would like to pay cash and it will be your first time please contact us since we do not have reception staff.
On the day of your first visit / follow up, if another appointment will be necessary, our clinic will require you to pay it in advance.
StateOfChange clinic has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all Treatments.
If a Patient does not notify StateOfChange clinic that they wish to cancel a booked Treatment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the booking they will be charged in full. If a Patient wishes to reschedule a booking, then a new booking time must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the original booking, otherwise the Patient must pay in full. The Patient has a statutory right of 14 days to cancel a course of treatments and be reimbursed. In the case the Patient has bought a package and used some sessions but not all, the Patient can be refunded for the part of the package not used if such cancellation is made within 14 days of purchase. If the patient has used all the treatments in the package within 14 days, the right to cancel is lost.

StateOfChange clinic offers packages of 5 treatments for any of our services and 10% OFF will be applied on the total amount.
